The Production Technician is responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, and lighting assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities in a manufacturing environment. This role works from blueprints, specifications, and standard operating procedures to assemble components, prepare and process wiring and connectors, conduct inspections, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or adjustments. The technician utilizes a variety of hand tools, test equipment, and calibrated instruments while ensuring adherence to quality standards and production requirements. Additional responsibilities include soldering, fitting, mixing epoxies and paints according to specifications, completing required technical documentation, verifying the quality of assemblies and completed products, and supporting other production-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1- 3 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings/specifications
- Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
- Knowledge with using solder system, wire stripper and crimpers preferred
